Think 'party-sauce', think tomato sauce with a touch of curry, think loads of fun.
Ingredients: Water, tomato paste, sugar, spirit vinegar, modified corn starch, salt, tomato powder, curry paste (ginger, garlic, turmeric, cayenne, cumin, fennel, paprika, coriander, chilli, aniseed, fenugreek), onion powder, cinnamon, citric acid, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, sodium metabisulphite, sodium benzoate.
Liven up hot dogs and ‘curry-wurst’ platters, it shines on mixed grills (even the vegetarian version with mushrooms and Halloumi!).
Great at a breakfast fry-up, it is also delicious on toasted sandwiches, burgers and french fries, and of course, most pasta bakes.
We thought it is an ‘adult’ taste - then a couple a tweenies declared it their favourite, favourite!
Curry Ketchup was made for sausages of all kinds - particularly hot dogs and smoked sausages.
It also shines on hamburgers and fries...
This (in case anyone is wondering), is what a couple of teen-lads cook up for an after-surf brunch fry-up. Bacon and onion just works with Curry Ketchup!
And then there's toasties of course... Spread the inside sides of the bread with a generous layer of Curry Ketchup - awesome.
Curry Ketchup is great on Frittatas and Spanish Omelettes - and also pasta bakes with loads of cheese.
Fans of Curry Ketchup are a very eclectic lot - from tweenies (these guys LOVE spice and condiments with everything) and teens (who are notoriously fussy) through to some elderlies who have taken to keeping it on hand for almost every meal.
